This year 1,830 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in Arkansas, 410 will die. When I was 9 years old I lost my grandmother to this horrible disease. I wish that she known back then what we know now.
You see, early detection is the best defense. Now is the best time. Even if you feel healthy. Getting checked
regularly can put you mind at ease. And finding cancer early could save your life.
KAIT and St. Bernards have partnered together to increase breast cancer awareness in Region 8 with a campaign called Pink For Life.
On the 8th of every month, KAIT and St. Bernards Healthcare will send you an email reminder to do your self exam and provide you with details of events in the area supporting breast cancer awareness, and information about other women's health issues.
log on to kait8.com and register today!
by doing so you can make a difference in your life, your loved ones lives, and we can make this A Better Region 8
This post should be read by everyone so they'll know too about breast cancer. Thanks for sharing. Keep safe!!

just blowing off steam, and to let you know what are tax dollars are going for, recently my son, got behind on his support payments, the office of child support enforcement in pocahontas, ar notified him that he must catch up or 1.his drivers license would be revoked, 2.he would be put in jail, 3.his wages would be carnished, and 4.any refund from incomes would be sent to them. He paid $570 to his ex-wife for child support, the receipt had the wrong dates so it was like a gift to her, he then paid another $2000 thru the child support office, and then the child support office garnished his wages and took his income tax refund 0f $1057. This is not an isolated incident, my other son had similiar problems, where the money he was paying for his daughter, was going to his wife, while his mother had custody of the daughter, he tried unsuccessfully to get support sent to his mother instead, all the child support office did was tell him his ex-wife would have to change it. finally he had to hire a lawyer to get things straightened out.
